hypospadias. He was referred to our
office for evaluation recently and was noted to have a normally positioned
urethral meatus but a persistent ventral hood with deficient ventral penile
foreskin. Testes were bilaterally
descended. He has no history of urinary
tract infections and no major medical problems.
PLAN
He
is to be admitted on an elective basis at the convenience of the parents’
schedule. The plan is for removal of the
dorsal hood, artificial erection to rule out chordee, and circumcision.
