Urology Stauies

CHART NOTE

HISTORY
The patient is a 70-year-old white male with stage D3 adenocarcinoma of the prostate who has received radiation therapy to his pelvis and to his central nervous system and who has undergone a bilateral orchiectomy.  He complained of bilateral shoulder pain on a visit to the urology clinic last week.  A subsequent bone scan revealed multiple focal areas of uptake suspicious for metastatic disease of both shoulder regions.  The patient needs to be admitted for palliative radiation therapy.  He is making arrangements for this admission.
